"My telescopes and mounts are used almost exclusively for CCD astrophotography. Much of my astrophotography is done from my backyard in Chandler, Arizona -- a very light-polluted suburb of Phoenix. This picture shows my RC Optical 0.32M F/9 Ritchey-Chretien telescope mounted on the AP1200 GTO mount and my SBIG ST-8XE CCD nearby. I also use my Takahashi F/3 Epsilon 210 astrograph on the AP1200 mount for wide-angle astroimaging. The stability and pointing accuracy of the AP1200 have been superb for these heavy optical tube assemblies. My favorite equipment is my AP 130mm F/6 apochromat mounted on my 600E GTO GEM. This combination produces excellent deep space astroimages with a light weight setup that is really fun to use. My AP600E mount also handles my Celestron 9.25 inch SCT OTA without difficulty for astrophotography."
