Astro-Physics 80.8mm Back-focus Spacing Distance
All 3.5” and 4” field flatteners (FF) and telecompressor correctors (TCC) (except 4”FF shipped with 155EDF, 180EDF and 206EDF) can be configured to have 80.8mm back-focus spacing. This is the distance from the camera sensor or chip to the flange of the optional back-focus spacer recommended for the field flattener or TCC. This allows you to purchase one adapter for use with all field flatteners and TCCs listed above. A set of spacers can also help you fine tune your spacing. You don't need to purchase multiple adapters. It also minimizes the number of components in your imaging train.
